Hop on the Durian Boat
The Rajang River and its smaller offshoots are the only highways we’ll be traversing this durian tour.
Starting at the wide port city of Sibu, we’ll munch our way up through the orchards of this mighty river, visiting traditional longhouses and more modern plantations to learn about the many different peoples and fruits who call this river home.
From the crazy-colored red, green, and orange wild durians to the delectable favorites of Peninsular Malaysia, this durian tour is a journey through time and culture as well as rare fruit species not yet cut down by deforestation.
We’ll be connecting with the Sekapan and Iban tribes as well as the Chinese community.
Our group is limited to only 8 durian lovers.
Pre-requisite of travel: You must not dislike durian odor or walking.
