The Philippines is in the top 5 banana-exporting countries in the world, yet the only variety they export (the Cavendish) is not actually a Philippine banana.

In the Philippines, they love their creamy, gummy Latundan, their apple-candy-sweet Lakatan, and the foamy, marshmallowy vanilla Cardaba.

And Richard is kind of obsessed. Obsessed enough that he insisted on bringing some of these delicious banana varieties to you to improve your smoothie situation.
