This semi-wild species of durian grows on trees 100 years old or more in the backyards of villagers in Kuala Gandah. It’s sweet and tropical, with a crazy chemical zing that you only get in wild jungle fruits. This one is for the adventurous, as it tastes somewhat different from regular durian.
