One side got flattened a bit when it tumbled 20 meters from the tree top.
A piece on the bottom got sliced in half when you opened it with a knife.

This is our page of imperfect durian, durian that for whatever reason we felt was not beautiful enough or perfect enough to be sorted into our 400g Premium Durian Packages, where we do strive for perfection.

This durian page is for those of you with a big family to feed, or a big appetite and a small budget.  We hope this is an amazing and affordable opportunity for those of you looking for a sweet, sweet deal.

    This actually is the same A-grade durian quality as our 400g bags, only in bigger quantity and they got a little bit squished! These were the smaller one-pod pieces or the pods accidentally got broken into multiple pieces during removal from the freezer. Through a miscommunication with the staff, they packaged them in 1KG per bag instead of our regular 400g bags.  Since the bag was too small for 1KG, they got all squished up and don't look pretty anymore, so we've reduced the price and put them in our B-Grade.

    This is our Imperfect D14, the durian that didn't quite make the cut for our regular 400g packets.  Best value for durian lovers who care about flavor over appearances!

    This thick, more cookie-dough textured durian has a stronger taste and tastes somehow like yellow cake and almond butter.

    This durian paste comes from the Karak myOrganik Farm, the first durian farm in Malaysia to achieve the local organic certification. *About our Packaging*

We ship with dry ice AND gel ice so these durians can reach you frozen and ready to pop in the freezer for later.

We do not use styrofoam!  We are currently using Temperpack‘s curb-side recyclable insulation made out of 90% recycled paper and corn starch.

Credit/Replacement Policy

Except in rare cases, we replace or credit any damaged, lost, or mistaken durians. Whether you receive a replacement or a refund will be decided situationally and is up to the discretion of Team Durian.

The following reasons are covered under our refund/replacement policy to the United States and Canada only:

  • Your box was lost or misplaced by UPS/FedEx
  • Late delivery or improper handling by UPS/FedEx that results in spoilage or damage
  • Anything that is our mistake is on us

What we may not cover:

  • If you change your address mid-shipment or pick-up location mid-shipment, and the box is delayed as a result.
  • If you don’t pay your import fees on time, and the delivery is delayed as a result.
  • If UPS has attempted delivery on multiple days but you did not attempt to get in touch with UPS or Team Durian to notify us of problems.
  • All International Shipments outside of the United States and Canada.

If you want to cancel your order:

  • Please notify us of cancellations before the Sunday morning by 9AM PST, the day before the Shipping Monday. All boxes ship on Mondays only.
  • Instead of cancelling your order, you may also delay your box to another date or receive a credit equal to the full value of your order that can be used at a later date.
  • Refunded cancellations will have the credit card fees deducted. We are sorry about this, but the credit card processing company does not refund the fees.
