This tour is designed to get you up and out of Davao City and into the farm lands to eat amazing tree-ripened durian fresh from the farm, to learn about how agriculture has shaped this landscape, and through a shared love for durian come to understand the colorful culture and diverse peoples of the Davao region of Philippines.
At the end of this tour, you should not only should have fallen in love with Davao (& Durian) but have a better sense of what this place is about and how to navigate it for your next trip (because you’ll be back).

Please book your flights to the Francisco Bangoy International Airpot (DVO). We will arrange a pick up at the airport.
Accommodation
This tour includes 8 nights accommodation. Your first night is in Davao City, but the other 7 are in upscale rustic eco-resorts surrounded by nature.

I’m Lindsay, the author of this durian-obsessed site and the organizational force behind this tour. I use my experience of four years of durian hunting to take you to my favorite durian farms and experiences in Thailand.

I was on Lindsay’s first Philippine durian tour and found it exceeded all expectations by a lot. Five stars for the durian and Philippine cooking, five more for the excellent tour stays and farm visits, and all the stars for beauty and adventure.
