Once Rob called the Singapore Zoo and asked if we could bring their tigers some durian. They laughed at him and told him that tigers were carnivorous. Silly Americans, thinking cats could eat fruit! But the truth is that tigers really do like durian. And here’s a video to prove it.

On a side note, many cats like durian as well, and can even display preferences between varieties. When given a choice between D24 and Musang King (Mao Shan Wang/Mountain Cat King), this little guy chose his namesake fruit. I can’t blame her, it really was that good.
