One hundred, two hundred, a thousand durians in, the names start to blur into an incomprehensible jumble of Chinese and Malay, letters and numbers, DA10, Hijaus and Nungoyes. But there are always a few that stand out in my memory. This is one of them, a durian so beautiful my eyes nearly watered in visual salivation. Smooth as whipped cream, deep as baking chocolate with silvery highlights that left my tongue sparkling frostily for hours, this durian remains unknown, but never forgotten.
